Diary
Somewhat belated, I’m entering July’s diary. July has been a very lazy month musically for me. I have found it really hard to get back into the groove of things, finding other distractions, usually the washing or ironing, or something equally uninteresting but nevertheless keeping me away from what I should be doing.
Therefore my list is now over the page but I managed to force myself up there last night after work at 2:30am in order to finish off Michael Badal’s new demo which I sent to him at 4:30am this morning. I don’t think I woke Gav up but these days we’re a bit like LadyHawk, I go to bed just as he’s getting up – he works the hours of a farmer and I work the hours of a vampire
Anyway, Michael seems happy today which is good, so after a few tidy ups and adlibs that’s that one done – I don’t suppose he’ll mind me telling you that it’s called “Fairy Tale”.
Seven Sister’s is ticking along. I’ve been sorting out the logo for it. I’m quite happy with what I’ve got but all depends on what Robert thinks obviously. I have one track that needs a re-record and then you should be able to hear something from this project, it’s quite chilled so I really hope you’ll like it.
I sent Michael Readings of Avatar One four tracks before the holiday and he’s now working on them for the EP which at the moment is called “Ankh”. As I mentioned in the forum, this is a side project which is dark and different. I am really hoping that you’ll love it too.
I am almost finished with typing up all of my lyrics and hoping to go live with that really soon too and will post to let you know once it’s done.
On a business note, I signed my publishing over to Cloud 9 Publishing. I originally had my own little company PeaChi Publishing but the tracks were sitting there doing nothing. Here’s hoping Cloud 9 will now start to get them onto comps and in films and TV. I am still keeping PeaChi Publishing for my books which I hope to begin to get sorted in 2011 and hopefully I’ll have catalogued my artwork then too so you’ll be able to have a butchers at that too.
There’s still a lot more in the pipeline, but most of that is still a way off. Slowly slowly catchy monkey
Hope your Summer is going great guns and you are all enjoying the new tunes out there, some of mine too
Take care and God bless you and keep you safe :)

I missed May mainly down to it being Gav’s big four “o” so there was a lot of prep to do for that. Time just seems to fly these days. I cannot believe we are already in June which means we’re almost half way through the year.
So I’m not going to be around for most of June as thanks to a gift from Gav’s Mum and Dad we are off on holiday on Sunday for two weeks. Our holiday last year was fabulous in Spain and France but we had only booked it on the premis of me doing the gig in Pamplona which then was cancelled and the promoter ran off with everyone’s money – happy days. So I’m really grateful for the chance to get away to Turkey.
It’s been manic trying to get sorted for it, as I have a lot of outstanding jobs that I’ve been putting off, however I can tell you I’ve finally sent Nick Murray the dry vocals for the two songs I have written for him.
Tonight I’m just sending Vierro his track to see whether he likes it, so I’m waiting for a thumbs up on that.
I am going to rush home and try and write over a new E:Mortal tune which as you can tell from my post I am utterly bowled over by.
And I have a Michael Badal track half written plus one other for someone else, I will tell you who once it’s done as I’m not sure whether I’ve missed their deadline! Whoops. And two more tracks for the album.
A lot to crack on with before Sunday, actually I need to get them all done by Friday night/Saturday morning because I still have to pack.
Anyway, hope you are all keeping well and I hope you get some time in the sun too. We all need a bit of sunshine.
Take care

Blimey, February just came and went.
March, so far: This chocaholic has given up chocolate for Lent!
In order to do this I am still eating the odd plain boring biscuit and anything else I can get my fat little mitts on that has sugar in it (not fruit obviously) otherwise I’d be unbearable ;).
I have to say life without chocolate is quite dull but it is only until Easter Sunday when I shall sit alone in a darkened room and stuff my face with a Cadbury’s Easter Cake that has been secreted to the back of the cupboard until such time. Now that is focus
I have another new project that I’ve agreed to do. An EP with Avatar One which I’m excited about. It is going to be a bit off the wall and unlike a lot of my work so it’ll be challenging.
I’m excited about a lot of the work I am doing now and can’t wait to share it with you here. Unfortunately at the moment there is nothing I can post as a little taster but I hope as the year progresses that will change.
Anyway, trust that you are all well and happy and so far 2010 is working out as you’d hoped.
Take care
